Why it matters: whole-rhizome extraction keeps turmeric’s compounds — curcuminoids, aromatic turmerone oils and more — in the natural ratios the plant made them in, so you get the complete, balanced botanical profile instead of an isolated or reconstituted fraction.
Ultrasonic Enhanced & Temperature-Controlled Extraction
What it is: our TRUE™ (Traditional Raw Ultrasonic Enhanced) process passes gentle high-frequency sound waves through the rhizome as it steeps in organic cane alcohol. Those waves create countless microscopic bubbles that form and collapse in the liquid — a natural effect called cavitation — softly opening the plant’s cell walls to release its active constituents.
Why the sound waves matter: traditional cold soaking leaves much of a plant’s goodness locked inside the cell walls. Gently opening those cells draws out more of the herb’s full spectrum, and does it faster — so the botanicals spend less time exposed to air and light. The result is a richer, more complete, more consistent extract.
Why we keep it cool: many of turmeric’s aromatic, oil-soluble compounds are heat-sensitive and can be damaged or driven off by high heat. Glycerin-Free — Made with Organic Cane Alcohol
What it is: extracted in certified organic cane alcohol and water (alcohol content 45–55% by volume), with no vegetable glycerin and no added sugars.
Why alcohol, not glycerin: alcohol is one of nature’s most effective solvents. It pulls out the widest range of turmeric’s compounds — including the resins and oil-soluble curcuminoids that water or glycerin alone simply cannot fully dissolve. That means a more complete, truer full-spectrum, and more potent extract. Alcohol also naturally preserves the tincture, giving it a long shelf life with no added preservatives.
Why glycerin-free is a plus: glycerin-based tinctures taste sweeter, but glycerin is a much weaker solvent and typically yields a less concentrated, less complete extract — especially for a resinous, oil-rich herb like turmeric. Going glycerin-free also means no added sugar or sugar-alcohols. (The natural alcohol taste is easily softened by adding your dose to water or juice.)
Certified Organic Rhizome
