Clove Essential Oil
Ampext® Clove (Eugenia caryophyllata) Essential Oil is warm, rich and spicy — the deep, sweet-woody scent of whole cloves in a holiday pomander. Its invigorating aroma is a natural star of fall and winter home fragrance.
Extracted through steam distillation from the clove buds, this oil is intensely aromatic — just a drop or two is enough.
Aroma: warm, spicy and sweet, with a woody, slightly fruity depth.
Ways to Enjoy:
- Aromatic use: Add 1–2 drops to a diffuser for an invigorating, warm atmosphere; with sweet orange and cinnamon it becomes a classic holiday blend.
- Home fragrance: Scent potpourri, homemade candles and room sprays, or add a drop to DIY cleaners for a spicy-fresh finish.
- Warming massage: Use only well diluted in a carrier oil (e.g., jojoba or coconut oil) for a warming massage experience; patch test first.
- Natural perfume: A single drop adds spicy depth to amber and woody perfume blends.
Blends well with: sweet orange, cinnamon, ginger, bergamot, frankincense, rosemary and black pepper.
